Dee Dee Brogan, Founder

Dee Dee Brogan, wife of Jim Brogan, is an integral part of the Brogan Financial team. Dee Dee's primary responsibilities include overseeing personnel operations and assisting with client services. Dee Dee has a passion for making sure the needs of both Brogan Financial employees and clients are always met.

Dee Dee and Jim founded Brogan Financial in 2001. Dee Dee is a native of Columbia, South Carolina and earned a degree in Music Education from Columbia College in her hometown. The couple married in 1993 and Dee Dee moved to Knoxville shortly thereafter. They have two daughters, Mary Caroline and Elizabeth Grace.

Outside the office Dee Dee is well known for her singing talent. Dee Dee released her first album "Dee Dee Brogan December Five & Twenty" in November 2011. Dee Dee has also toured with the country with Billy Graham, sang with Glenn Draper and the Lake Junaluska Singers at The White House, and has performed nationally and internationally. Dee Dee can often be found singing at The University of Tennessee ball games, at Knoxville events, and at church.

Jim Kraeske, Investment Advisor Representative

Jim Kraeske began his financial services career in 2006 with a move to Knoxville from Nashville.  He joined Brogan Financial in the spring of 2009 as an Investment Advisor Representative.

Jim holds the Certified Income Specialist designation (CIS) from the Institute of Business and Finance. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Tennessee and is a former small business owner.

Originally from Clarksville, Tennessee, Jim resides in Oak Ridge with his wife Angie and children Emily and Natalie.  In his spare time, he enjoys hiking and exploring the beauty of East Tennessee with his family.

Jamie L. Scott, Chief Compliance Officer/Operations Manager

Jamie joined the Brogan Financial team in 2010 and serves as the Chief Compliance Officer and Operations Manager for the firm. She is responsible for the compliance oversight and daily operations of the team and office.

She began her career in the financial services industry in 1996 as a file clerk, transitioning through the years to compliance/office manager with a firm in Chattanooga, TN where she obtained her Series 7, 63 and 24 security licenses. She also spent four years working for a broker/dealer firm in Atlanta, GA in their operations department.

Jamie grew up in South Alabama and has spent the majority of the past 14 years in Chattanooga. She is an avid sports fan and enjoys spending time with friends and family, as well as traveling to warm, sunny beaches. She currently resides in West Knoxville with her husband Curtis, who is a firefighter with the City of Knoxville, and their daughters Cassy, Courtney, Isabella and Addison.

Jamie Kate Cragwall, Marketing and Public Relations Specialist

Jamie Kate Cragwall joined the Brogan Financial team in 2012 and serves as the Marketing and Public Relations Specialist for the firm.  Jamie Kate’s primary responsibilities include coordination of client events and functions, client mailings and assisting the advisors with the various classes taught through the University of Tennessee and Pellissippi State.  She also assists with production of Jim Brogan’s radio show “More Living with Jim Brogan”, which can be heard every Saturday morning on News Talk 98.7 FM, WOKI.    

She began her career as a Human Resources professional where she spent several years specializing in benefit management as well as Wellness Plan development and implementation.  She then moved into a marketing role for a benefit consulting firm where she focused on corporate retirement plans.

Jamie Kate grew up in East Tennessee and attended the University of Tennessee, where she was a member of the UT dance team.  After college, she danced professionally in Atlanta and New York City.  In her spare time, Jamie Kate competes in triathlons and is on the praise and worship team at Fellowship Church.

Audrea Matherly, Client Service Associate

Audrea Matherly began her career in the financial services industry in 1997 and came to Brogan Financial in 2006. As a Client Service Associate, she processes and tracks all business, often works directly with clients, and provides a broad range of support to financial advisors.

Audrea graduated from nursing school, and has lived all over the country as the wife of a retired Army First Sergeant. Her son Philip is currently serving in the Army on a combat trauma team.

Originally from Charlotte, North Carolina, Audrea lives in Knoxville with her husband Jeff and their dog Changis. She is involved at Temple Baptist Church and enjoys spending time outdoors, cooking, singing, and swimming.

Jordan Musgrove, Paraplanner

Jordan joined the Brogan Financial team in 2012 as a paraplanner. As a paraplanner, Jordan is responsible for assisting advisors in all aspects of client meeting preparations and investment research, as well as handling various client inquires.

Born in Oklahoma, she moved to Knoxville and graduated from UT with a bachelor's degree in political science with a minor in public administration. Jordan began her career in financial services in 2006 as a financial service associate at Regions Bank. She was promoted to assistant branch manager in 2009.

Jordan is a die-hard UT football fan and enjoys spending time outdoors, on the lake, and with friends. She has a dog named Gracie and lives in North Knoxville.
