Vickie Duncan serves as the Director of Client & Staff Experience, bringing warmth, organization, and hospitality to every aspect of the firm’s culture and operations. Additionally, Vickie serves on the Executive Team. A graduate of Tennessee Technological University with a degree in Management Information Systems, Vickie has over 30 years of experience in hospitality and event planning. Her diverse background includes work with Roane State Community College, the Haslam Family, a local law firm, and coordinating numerous community and school events. Originally from Middle Tennessee, Vickie has called Knoxville home for more than three decades. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two grown children, their spouses, and her six beloved grandchildren. She also finds joy in her friendships, working out, reading, crocheting, and traveling.
Fun fact: Vickie grew up on a farm in a small rural town and graduated from high school with a class of just 38 students.
Brynn Pierce, MBA
Brynn serves as Brogan Financial’s Data & Compliance Analyst. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Tennessee, and a Master’s in Business Administration from Tennessee Wesleyan University. With over ten years of experience working with the Brogans in various capacities, Brynn brings extensive knowledge to the multiple departments she serves. As a Knoxville native, Brynn spends a lot of her time cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers. In her free time, Brynn enjoys fitness, reading, and spending quality time with her friends and family.
Fun fact: Brynn has known the Brogan family for quite some time – Dee Dee even taught her kindergarten music class!
Client Care Specialist
Karah serves as a Client Care Specialist by supporting clients and advisors on a daily basis. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Tennessee, with a focus in Finance. Originally from Knoxville, Karah now lives in Lenoir City with her husband. She enjoys spending time on the lake, hiking, shopping, traveling, and experimenting with new recipes.
Fun Fact: Karah is a lifelong equestrian and spent over 15 years riding horses.
Grace serves as a Client Care Specialist at Brogan Financial, supporting clients and advisors on a daily basis. She holds a Bachelors’ Degrees from The University of Tennessee in Psychology and Political Science, and earned her Master’s in Business Administration from Lipscomb University with a concentration in Accounting and Finance. Grace has lived in Memphis, Nashville, and Charleston, and is now back home to Knoxville where she enjoys being closer to family and friends.
Fun fact: Although Grace has not necessarily mastered the art of cooking, she makes the best Kraft macaroni and cheese of our generation.
Tanya Yon
Client Care Specialist
Tanya serves as a Client Care Specialist at Brogan Financial, by supporting clients and advisors on a daily basis. With over 20 years of industry experience, Tanya loves working with people and getting to know them through the client process. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, Tanya now resides in Maryville with her daughter. She enjoys exploring East Tennessee with her family to see all that the area has to offer.
Fun Fact: Tanya took a trip to the Holy Land and walked the pilgrimage journey, the “Road to Calvary”, in Jerusalem.
Cory serves as the Client Care Specialist for Jim Brogan, assisting with client communications and supporting day-to-day operations to ensure a seamless client experience. He holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Finance and Communication & Speech from the University of Tampa. Originally from Somerset, Kentucky, Cory now resides in West Knoxville. Cory served for five years in the United States Coast Guard as an Aviation Maintenance Technician. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
Fun fact: Cory is credited with 7 lives saved in the Coast Guard.
Kristen serves as a Client Care Specialist at Brogan Financial, where she supports both clients and advisors on a daily basis. With over 15 years of experience in the financial industry, she brings valuable expertise and a deep understanding of client service to the team. Kristen enjoys hiking the mountain trails with her family. Originally from Massachusetts, Kristen now lives in East Tennessee with her husband and their two children.
Fun fact: Kristen has known her husband since she was eleven years old!
Jordan serves as a Paraplanner and a Client Care Specialist at Brogan Financial, by preparing files for meetings and supporting clients and advisors on a daily basis. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Tennessee with a focus in Finance and Business Analytics. She has lived in Knoxville her whole life and enjoys playing soccer and watching UT sports in her spare time.
Fun fact: Jordan worked at the Body Farm next to UT’s medical center during college
Connor McCormick
Jane serves as an Apprentice to our Advisor and Management Team at Brogan Financial, shadowing our advisors and assisting with operational tasks to help serve our clients beyond conference rooms. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a Finance Major, Economics Minor, and Collateral in International Business. Jane is originally from Franklin, TN, and now lives in Knoxville along with several of her college friends. In her free time, Jane enjoys running and doing hot yoga. She loves to stay active and working out is her favorite way to de-stress. She has run 1 full marathon and several half marathons! Jane was able to spend 6 weeks living in Greece during a study abroad trip which she found very life changing.
Fun fact: Jane grew up going to a Dual Language Elementary School in South Florida and has been Billingual speaking English and Spanish her whole life!
Tyler Stermetz
Kevin serves as a Paraplanner & Operations Support at Brogan Financial, assisting the Advisory and Client Care Teams with client file preparation for appointments. He earned a Bachelor’s in Telecommunications and a Master’s in Business Administration in Finance from Indiana University. Kevin brings valuable expertise to the team with his multiple years of experience. Originally from Indiana, Kevin now resides in Vonore with his wife. He enjoys golf, lake outings with friends, and cheering for his beloved Hoosiers.
Fun fact: Kevin worked at a TV station for three years after graduating with his Bachelor’s Degree.
Jason serves as a Paraplanner & Operations Support at Brogan Financial. He supports the Paraplanning and Operations Teams by preparing files for advisor meetings with clients. Additionally, Jason works closely with our Operations & Compliance Analyst. He graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Planning. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Jason currently resides in Knoxville. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, spending time with family and friends, and driving through the mountains.
Fun fact: Jason is an excellent pizza chef!
Mary Caroline serves as Brogan Financial’s Marketing Coordinator. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and a Master’s in Business Administration from Samford University. Originally from Knoxville, Mary Caroline now resides in Auckland, New Zealand, with her fiancé, Danny. She enjoys reading, traveling, and maintaining an active lifestyle through HIIT workouts and heated yoga/pilates classes. Currently studying French, she hopes to become bilingual someday.
Fun Fact: Growing up around her family’s business, Mary Caroline used to “pretend” to answer the phones for Brogan Financial as a child!
Marketing Coordinator
Casey serves as our Marketing Coordinator. Her creativity, organization, writing skills, and hospitality foster a spirit of innovation and excellence. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Lipscomb University. Born and raised in Knoxville, Casey currently lives in West Knoxville, married to her middle school sweetheart. She enjoys working out, spending time with family, and cheering on the Tennessee Vols on weekends.
Fun fact: Casey played point guard for her college basketball team.
Chara serves Brogan Financial as a Business Support Associate, supporting all teams as needed throughout the business on a day-to-day basis and working with the Client Care Team to assist with processing paperwork and other important functions and tasks. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Bryan College and a Master’s Degree in Teaching from Notre Dame University of Maryland. Born and raised in Dayton, Tennessee, Chara and her husband, who served in the military, spent 20 years in the Washington, DC area. She now lives in West Knoxville with her husband, three kids, and a dog. Chara loves spending time in the Smoky Mountains with her family, making quilts, and refinishing furniture.
Fun fact: Chara was an award-winning marksman in her high school JROTC program.
